Kinesiology sophomore Lauren Ammerman lays out one of 4000 crosses during a short lived silent pro-life protest on the Parade Grounds Friday morning. The group attempted to put up over 4000 small wooden crosses on the grounds to represent the estimated 4000 abortions that take place in the United States each day, but LSU administration informed the Students For Life group that they didn't fill out proper paperwork to do such actions. Sunday marked the 32nd anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion. |
