The hands of contractor Ray Sibley have built bridges during WWII as well as build LSU's golf course. Though he formally retired 25 years ago, he refuses to retire his hands as he works on yet another project: building a tool shed in his backyard. For a man with only a formal 10th grade education, he has done a lot to provide for his family. During the Great Depression as a CCC worker, he sustained his family by giving them a large portion of his $30/month income. |
